So we never actually announced here that we were pregnant. Hopefully it was slightly obvious in some of the videos we’ve posted recently (i.e. groceries)… but either way, we’re pregnant! and we found out last week that it’s a girl!!!

A lil’ ms. franklin will be joining our family in September 🙂 We couldn’t be more excited. Here she is… facing the camera with her right hand up by her ear. Maybe saying 你好 (ni hao)?

The ultrasound video might only be interesting for our parents, and for us in the future… but here it is:

She wasn’t cooperating enough to take any 3D pictures, so we asked the internet to make a prediction instead… we’ll have to wait a few years to see how accurate it is:

 

I’m 22 weeks tomorrow, and thankfully the pregnancy has been pretty uneventful so far. Even the first trimester wasn’t bad… apart from throwing up in the security line of the Xi’an airport, in front of maybe 1,000 people. Hopefully the rest of the pregnancy goes just as smoothly. Cravings? Nothing consistent really… but bread & cheese, and watermelon top the list.
